New Year, New Chat
Nothing drastic, just getting a bit closer
“So this is the New Year /
and I don’t feel any different.”
This has been my New Year’s anthem since I first heard it in 2003, when I was fifteen. Something about its melancholy brings me back to myself every time.
I’m writing to share something new I’m opening for those who want to step a little closer to themselves this coming year.
Because I journal avidly; for grounding, for craft, for orientation; I’ve spent years collecting and creating writing prompts that help point my mind (and body) in certain directions. Earlier this year, I put together two sets of journal prompts and quietly let them sit. Now feels like the right time to invite them into the world.
For January, I’m opening a Reawakening Sensuality companion experience for paid subscribers. Alongside the writing that remains free here, paid subscribers will have access to a chat space where we’ll share reflections, insights, and experiences prompted by the journal guide.
This isn’t a challenge or a performance.
There’s no right pace, no expectation to show up daily. You’re welcome to visit the prompts slowly, weekly, sporadically or simply read along and notice what stirs. The only invitation is to return to yourself, in whatever way feels natural.
If this feels resonant, you’re welcome to:
Upgrade to a paid subscription and join me in the chat, or
Purchase the journal prompts on their own if you prefer a quieter, solitary experience.
I’ll be opening the chat tomorrow. The journal prompt link will be pinned there so you can join at any point and still have access right away.
No pressure — just an invitation.
As always, thank you for being here.
Happy New Year.
